I got these to do fine craft work with small beads and also for picking hairs out of fishing flies. When they arrived, I tested them out by plucking hairs from my beard. These tweezers did an amazing job of grabbing the hairs. And not only with the wickedly precise tip, but even further back, these tweezers were able to solidly grip hairs. I plucked a dozen hairs of varying sizes and intensity and not a single one slipped. They don't require a lot of force to close, but spring back nicely enough to form a good opening again so you can use them for an extended period without hand fatigue. They have a nice textured exterior for a good solid grip. I am extremely happy with the quality and precision of these tweezers.
